According to promoters, in February as well as March Rihanna, winner of three Grammy awards, will be giving Aussies in Newcastle, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney a taste of the stadium production for her tour “Last Girl On Earth.”

Rihanna, whose birth name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, visited Australia last in 2008. Currently Rihanna is touring in Europe for “R Rated,” her latest album which has sold over 2.5 million worldwide copies.

In a statement Michael Coppel Presents, tour promoter, said the show would be bringing a full theatrical production, including band, dancers and acrobats along with music from Rihanna’s four studio albums.

Tickets will go on sale August 20, with pre-sales starting August 9.

Rihanna since 2006 has released four studio sets and has won three Grammy Awards and received nine Grammy nominations. She was recognized as Favorite Female Artist for two consecutive years from the American Music Awards.

Last week Rihanna announced her upcoming acting debut. She will appear in an action adaption film called Battleship, named after the children’s board game.

Their domestic violence duet “Love the Way You Lie” knocked “California Gurl,” the breezy summer anthem from Katy Perry, from the top spot.

Rihanna, while discussing the abusive relationship theme of the song said to Access Hollywood, that was something necessary to do.

It was so clever how he did that said Rihanna, who is sporting a dramatic new red hairdo. Eminem just basically broke domestic violence’s cycle down. It’s something not too many people have lots of insight into.

Rihanna is a domestic abuse survivor. Last year Chris Brown, performer and former boyfriend, physically assaulted her while in a Lamborghini.

Buzz surrounding the music video is nearly as hot as the duo’s song.

Dominic Monaghan from Lost and his obsession over Megan Fox has been captured on film. It’s rumored that the video will be released sometime next week. MTV is reporting that the two actors were captured by a long lensed camera sharing a kiss while filming the video.

Rihanna and Eminem make appearances in the video as well. It is being filmed in Los Angeles. Rihanna, building on her experience on stage, will be trying big screen acting out soon.

Rihanna will have the female lead role in Battleship, the forthcoming action blockbuster movie.

It will be Rihanna’s big screen debut. She acted previously in the DVD sequel of “Bring It On: All or Nothing” in addition to sketch on the “Saturday Night Live” television comedy show.

Battleship the movie is based on the combat classic naval game with the same name. It is anticipated to be one of 2012’s biggest film.

In terms of the plot, not much is known yet. However reports have it that the movie will expand the game to include air, sea and land combat versus an alien force.

Taylor Kitsch from Friday Night Lights and Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood will star along with Rihanna.

Hancock’s Peter Berg will direct the film. The US release date is May 2012.

July 15 – Englewood, CO – Comfort Dental Amphitheatre

July 24 – Dallas, TX – Superpages.com Center

July 28 – Atlanta, GA – Philips Arena

August 3 – Noblesville, IN – Verizon Wireless Music Center

Only the shows in Englewood and Noblesville were provided with a reason for cancellation, which according to tour promoter and ticketing site Live Nation, is due to the singer’s change in schedule.

And if a cancellation isn’t enough, Rihanna’s July 22 appearance at the 20,000-seater Cricket Wireless Pavilion in Phoenix will be moved to the AVA Amphitheatre housed at the Casino de Sol in Tucson which seats only about a quarter of what the Cricket Wireless can accommodate. Ticket prices for the new venue are also significantly pricier at $60 to $125, compared to the ticket prices for the Phoenix show which goes for only $25.75 to $95.75.

Despite a noticeable difference in ticket prices, fans are still dying to see Rihanna perform live wherever and whenever as evidenced by the sold-out reserved seating and the almost sold-out rear seating. Apparently, fans aren’t settling for a mere entrance as there are still about 2,000 general admission tickets available for the event.

The tour is scheduled to run for only two months, yet the tour has been suffering several setbacks starting with its kick off show in Vancouver, which was supposed to unveil on July 2 but had to be moved to July 4. Nevertheless, there are no reported cancellations yet for Rihanna’s appearance in Albuquerque, NM on July 14 at The Pavilion and at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse on August 28, which after several re-arrangements to the “Last Girl” schedule, is shaping to be the tour’s finale.

Sean Garrett, producer and songwriter, revealed to MTV News some news regarding the album. He said, I definitely can say the new album will be a lot more happy and exciting. I hope it’s ok for me to say this. I really love Rihanna. She is like my sister. She is fun. She doesn’t take herself really seriously. That is what this album will be about. I remember back when Rihanna was a girl from the islands and having fun and enjoying lifee with “Pon de Replay.” It seemed like she had that thing. It wasn’t real serious until the incident with Chris Brown happened. After that it become so serious. That is life. I am happy seeing her back. I can say definitely the record we have been working on is explosive and very positive. It is heavy into club.

Rihanna’s A&R rep said we are going with The Dream, Ne-Yo and other producers and writers that have been part of Rihanna’s creative process from the beginning. She is great working with. With every song being produced and written she is very hands on. It’s giving me a feleing of an album that is timeless already. It’s her time right now.

The Times quotes a verse from the opening track “Fireworks” from Drake’s upcoming debut album called “Thank Me Later.” On the song, which doesn’t mention Rihanna’s name, Drake raps I could tell this wasn’t love. I thought you were f___ with me.

Drake told the New York Times, looking back on the relationship that he was a pawn. What she did to me was exactly what I have done to many women in my life. Show them some quality time before disappearing. I thought, this feels terrible.

That quote is amazing. There aren’t too many rappers who would say openly that a woman stomped all over their heart. It’s one of the things that makes Drake such an outstanding artist. On Friday, Rihanna debuted her styled and newly dyed fiery red hair when she hit the stage in Spain at the musical festival Rock in Rio.

The singer of “Rockstar 101” strummed an air guitar while channeling the vintage 50’s style Madonna cone bra along with black high waisted pants.

According to PopEater.com, the flaming new hairdo of Rihanna’s with shaved side is a creation of Ursula Stephen, celebrity hairstylist.

Stephen isn’t a stranger to celebrity hair. She has styled for stars such as Keyshia Cole, “Destiny Child’s” Michelle Williams, and Saleisha Stowers, winner of “America’s Next Top Model.”

The vibrant performance by Rihanna was the latest date on her 62 concert tour “Last Girl on Earth.”

In July, the tour will be in the US. It will wrap up on August 28 in Syracuse.

Eminem said in an interview with Fearne Cotton from Radio 1, I have always had respect for her and her work.

When we were working on the track, I listened and knew that she would smash it vocally.

Also appearing on Eminem’s new album, due to be released on June 22, is Rihanna. She is featured on “Love The Way You Lie.”

Eminem said, The same with Rihanna as it was for Pink. The album is more special having her as part of it.

Eminem joined Cotton and played a set of two songs for a Radio 1 Live Lounge special. It was recorded at Maida Vale studio in London. Eminem played his single “Not Afraid” as well as “Stan,” his single from 2000 which was a Dido sample and mixed in a “Forever Means Forever” by Jason Derulo cover.

The rapper said I am in a lot better place now than a couple years ago and am in fantastic spirits.

In July, Eminem will be making his UK live return. He will have a headlining appearance for T In The Park. The gig will be his first in the UK since 2003.

I’m excited about getting back out and doing shows, Eminem said. Hitting the stage is a rush.

In addition, Rihanna explained what the meaning was behind the “Last Girl on Earth Tour” title. She said I think I am the Earth’s last girl because people sometimes make decisions based on other people’s outlooks. For me it’s my life. It’s my world. I will live it how I please. That’s the way I think about things. I am focused on myself and my work. The space is really narrow. I am focused.

“Rude Boy,” the third single from Rihanna’s album “Rated R,” is holding Billboard’s Hot 100 top position for the fourth week in a row. Rihanna said this is very exciting. I can’t believe of all the songs that “Rude Boy” is the album’s biggest song. That’s the one I wrote most on.

Minaj sent a tweet saying she was sorry she wouldn’t be part of the tour with Rihanna, and that she had decided to use the time to complete her new album and hoped that Rihanna would understand.

Minaj followed the tweet up with thanking Rihanna for extending her the great opportunity and for being such a sweetheart. She said she supported the show and sent her love.
