Rihanna continues to promote “Rated R” and will be on the road during July and August on “Last Girl on Earth Tour.” Rihanna is dating Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers and ex boy friend Chris Brown is no longer in the picture. Life is good for the singer. Despite all of this, Rihanna is working in the studio on new songs. The girl must never get any sleep.

Drake, the young hip-hop stud, in a recent New York Times interview confirmed the wide spread rumor that he and Rihanna dated briefly last summer. That might not sound like such a big deal. He was 22 at the time and she was 21, so as expected the relationship fizzled out almost as fast as it started. What is surprising however, is Drake’s candor in speaking of the past relationship.

Rihanna is a rock star. She now has the cone bra of Madonna’s and the hairdo for proving it. On Friday, Rihanna debuted her styled and newly dyed fiery red hair when she hit the stage in Spain at the musical festival Rock in Rio. The singer of “Rockstar 101” strummed an air guitar while channeling the vintage 50’s style Madonna cone bra along with black high waisted pants.

Appearing on Eminem’s new album, due to be released on June 22, is Rihanna. She is featured on “Love The Way You Lie.” Eminem said, The same with Rihanna as it was for Pink. The album is more special having her as part of it.

Wednesday night may have been the “American Idol” debut for Rihanna. However, a fearless performance was delivered by the superstar of “Rockstar 101,” her new single. In an “Entertainment Tonight” interview, Rihanna said, it’s the first time I have performed on “Idol.” It was kind of nerve racking. We are busy with tour rehearsals which has taken up a lot of time. We had to fit it in.

Nicki Minaj, the singer, has made the decision not to be part of Rihanna’s tour. Minaj sent a tweet saying she was sorry she wouldn’t be part of the tour with Rihanna, and that she had decided to use the time to complete her new album and hoped that Rihanna would understand.

North American summer dates have been announced by Rihanna as part of her world “Last Girl on Earth Tour” in support of “Rated R,” her platinum selling album. The outing will feature Nicki Minaj, rapper, and Ke$ha, pop singer, as openers. The trek will kick off in Auburn, WA on July 25 and will include both US and Canadian dates on the 25 city outing before wrapping up in Chicago on August 25.

According to a recent press release, next month Justin Bieber and Rihanna will be performing in Miami’s South Beach in one of the two free concerts being held in celebration of Super Bowl XLIV. On February 4, the two will be performing at Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam, South Beach’s only NFL Super Bowl official concert series.

This week Daily Mirror, the British tabloid, reported that it had been requested that Rihanna dress more conservatively when she performs her show on New Year’s Eve in Abu Dhabi at Emirates Palace Hotel. However organizers are insisting that isn’t true. According to Daily Mirror, the singer from Barbados along with her production team have worked around the clock in order to make her stage costumes more appropriate for Abu Dhabi’s local tradition, which appears to be more conversative than their Dubai neighbors.
